Ford Repair: Ac control head, 2007 grand marquis, vacuum line

Question
QUESTION: problem 1st ac/heat blend door wasn't working fixed by using lubricant The a week later the controls vent def floor started to randomly change and stopped at the defroster.. Will not change to area when button is depressed.. stays on defrost My question is is there a reset code for a 2007 grand marquis a/c control head that recalibrate the actuators or a code that can be that can be used to either confirm a bad or working climate control head.

ANSWER: first you want to check for a broken vacuum line to the heater head. there is asmall black vacuum line that enters the pass compartment from the engine compartment. if there is a vacuum loss the heater defaults to the defrost position. you can also perform a self test on the heater head. push the off and floor position buttons at the same time, release them and the push the auto button. the control unit should go into self test mode and if the is a problem, display a fault number on the face.

QUESTION: Alright i ran the test given.. it did the circling thing then  024 then after it was said and done i was able to see the full panel illuminated with 888 in the center of it all... No vacuum leak detected starting from outside and leading into compartment.. suction present inside lines. Is there another code that lets you recalibrate the actuators?

New problem also  it seems that my door locks re-defogger dome light and alarm stop working. When it rains it works also just out of no where my dome light wont turn off to where i have to remove the neg side bat cable to reset system.. i have checked my doors all wire connections seem to be alright would a computer module fluctuate from working to not..? if so what is the name of the module that controls all of these listed... It seems that when one doesn't work the rest stated don't either

Thank you for you help in this matter Brian it is appreciated

Answer
well, good new and bad. the code your recieving is for the blend dooor actuator. don't know how mechanically inclined you are but to replace this, the instrument panel must be patially removed. or atleast totally disconnected from the interior so you can move it back far enough to access this part. it's only about 50.00
your other concern could be two problem. the items you described are controlled by the drivers door module located inside the driver's door panel. my best guess though is and i'm only assuming is you have keyless entry ??? the driver's key pad shorts out deactivates the alarm and keeps the light on
firts thing to try though is disconnect battery for ten minutes then reconnect and see if any of these problems go away
