Ford Repair: help fixing a elect. short/ 3 led tail lite, question pool, electrical circuit

installed 3 led lites, 3 ballests, keep shorting out, must be short?..can anyone help me.

I saw this question in the question pool. Check you're ground to make sure that is is good. It may just be a defective set. Also, check the electrical circuit, unless running straight to the battery. It very well could be that the electrical circuit is not rated for the additional load that the LED lights are pulling. The load or amps drawn should be listed in the instruction manual. Long story short, you're power wire could be too small.
