Ford Repair: step by step how to change battery cables, cable harness assembly, battery cables

Question
Hello, I am a single mom on a very limited budget and am trying to change my battery and the cables. My auto parts store will change the battery for free, but not the cables. I need to find a step by step description on how to do this. I am limited in my mechanical abilities, but not completely limited..Ie: I can change my own oil and tires..

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus SES. 6cyl. Automatic.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thank you
margaret
