Honda Repair: SRS light/horn, horn button, 1995 honda civic

Question
I have a 1995 Honda Civic with 98,600 miles on it. The SRS light stays on and the horn doesn't blow. Are these repairs costly and can they be fixed?

Answer
Check the No. 42 20A fuse under the hood for the horn, if it's blown try disconnecting the horn and reinstall a new fuse. If it doesn't blow when you press the horn or the brakes(brake light circuit is on the same fuse) you probably need a new horn. Confirm power and ground at the horn connector when the horn button is pressed. If there's pwr and gnd you need a horn. As far as the SRS you will have to have a code retrieved in order to determine what component is triggering the light. Let me know, RICK
