Honda Repair: i have a 2004 honda civic...., light flashes, honda civic

i have a 2004 honda civic.  The emergency brake light flashes on and off involuntarily.  The brake is off.  Also the when it is in drive the "D" flashes on and off.  Honda checked my brake fluid and it is fine.  Any suggestions?

Linda:
There is a sensor on the brake system that may have a bad ground and it causes the intermittent flashes. As for the flashing "D" indicates a problem with the transmission and I would take in immediately to have the problem diagnosed.
