Honda Repair: CR-V air conditioning & noise, jingle bells, freon

Question
Hi,
I have a 99 Honda CRV with around 80K miles.
As I was driving on the highway this morning (approx 70 MPH) I heard a sucking noise from the front of the car - like something was stuck under the bumper. As I slowed it went away. I parked the car and it sat for about 2 hours. When I started it again the cold air is no longer working - no cold air blowing out and there is a constant noise from the hood sounding sort of like jingle bells. The compressor was replaced in April of this year - any ideas on what it might be?
Thanks.

Erin:
It sounds like there may have been a leak of Freon from the A/C, that may have been the initial noise you heard, and therefore the A/C will not blow cold air. Hard to say what the noise is but I would bet it is related to the Freon loss. You will need to have the leak fixed and a recharge of Freon.
Good luck.
