Honda Repair: My door/dome/head lights work,..., honda accord 1988, dashboard lights

My door/dome/head lights work, but when I turn the key, nothing happens.  There is no 'clicking' or anything....the dashboard lights don't even come on (or the radio).  The starer worked when we shorted it, but wouldn't start the car.  Honda Accord 1988.....what the hell's going on?  I need my last $20 for beer after my final exams next weeek!!!! help.

Did you try and jump start the car? Sounds like you have a bad battery. The dome light  may work, but it only uses a little battery power. A starter uses the most. Sounds like the battery is your problem.
Try and jump the car with another car. If still nothing, let me know and we can take it from there.
