Hyundai Repair: not starting, crank sensor, hyundai sonata

Question
I have a 2001 Hyundai Sonata isn't getting for to the fuel pump and doesn't have spark in the plugs

Answer
In a crank/no spark situation, check for the following:

-- does the check engine lamp come on when the ignition is turned on?  If not, you'll need to investigate why.  It's likely that for some reason the ECM is not turning on.

-- any codes stored in the ECM.  In some cases, the code will lead you directly to the issue.

-- proper output from crank sensor.  Without this, the ECM cannot determine the position of the crankshaft and therefore cannot determine when to fire the spark plugs.

There does seem to be a typo in your question.  I don't understand what it is the fuel pump isn't getting.  Power?  Ground?  Do follow up with this as it is likely to assist in diagnosis.

If you follow up with additional details regarding the condition, please also let me know whether this vehicle has a four or six cylinder engine, as this will enable me to look at the correct wiring schematic.
