Hyundai Repair: window sticking, interior door panel, hyundai accent

Question
i own a 1997 Hyundai accent the drivers window sticks and moves to the side when you wind it back up is it simple to fix and if so how would a novice do it?

Answer
This is potentially a simple fix, but you'll need to inspect the area of attachment to the window regulator.  You'll need to remove the interior door panel to inspect if you cannot see this through the window slot in the door.

If the window is coming loose from the grips that hold it in place, you may be able to fix it by epoxying back in place.  Otherwise, the door itself may need to be modified to allow for adjustment of the regulator position, or the regulator and/or window run (rubber strip in which the window rides) may need to be replaced.

If it turns out that the door needs to be modified to adjust the regulator, I'd recommend taking this to a reputable shop familiar with this type of repair.
