hi i have a 1997 Hyundai Tiburon 1.8L and the timing belt is gone in it and I am having a hard time finding a diagram or a chart on how to set a new one i do not have an owners manual i was lots by the previous owner.If you could possibly help me that would be great I would greatly appreciate it.

If the timing belt has failed, it's very likely you have engine damage.  This is an interference engine, and the pistons have likely hit the valves.
