Hyundai Repair: Clunking when i turn, steering and suspension, suspension systems

Question
I have an 03 elantra gt and a clunking noise just started about a day ago when i take left turns, and sometimes rights. can anyone let me know what this could possibly mean or be?

Answer
A clunking on turns could be caused by just about anything in the steering and suspension systems, or even something in the trunk moving around.  If you haven't done so already, check to be sure you don't have any unsecured items in the car that could be making this noise.  If not, you should probably have the car looked at by a professional.  The fact that you use the term "clunking" leads me to believe this is a significant noise and promotes some concern that there may be a serious issue.
