Hyundai Repair: Changing rear tire on 2001 Sonata, lug nuts, rear tire

Question
Is there anything special to removing the rear tire on a 2001 Sonata?  I've removed the 4 lug nuts, but the tire refuses to come off.  What manuals I have don't refer to changing the tires at all.  Might it be stuck from heat.  I've pounded it pretty hard, but doesn't move.

Answer
Usually, problems removing wheels occur when the wheel is stuck to the hub via corrosion.  If your car is properly supported so it won't fall, try putting the lug nuts on a few threads and kicking the tire (hard).  On the lift, I usually hit the inside of the wheel with a heavy plastic hammer, but this will probably be very difficult to do for the do-it-yourselfer.
