Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Husky 120, wiring loom, starter wire

Hi  I have just rebored this engine, but taken my time putting it back on the mower.  The normal key start was replaced by a push button before I brought it.  There are two leads coming out of the wiring loom, one goes on the starter, does the other get earthed or does it also go on the starter.

 Hello Grant:

 Send me the Model Numbers Off od the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Usually the Other Wire in the Harness with the Starter Wire is the Stator Wire. The Stator is the Charger for the Mower and is Located Under the Flywheel, with a Wire Coming Out Near the Starter. The Model Numbers will Help. Thanks.
