Hyundai Repair: problem, hyundia accent, egr valve

Where is the EGR Valve Located on a 2002 Hyundia Accent.   My check engine light has been on and I took it to get checked, they gave me the code:  P1401.

The 2002 Accent doesn't have an EGR valve.  Furthermore, Hyundai doesn't use the code P1401.  It sounds like the tool that was used to read your trouble codes wasn't communicating with your ECM properly.  You might try having the codes read with another tool or at another facility.
