Hyundai Repair: hyunda, crank sensor, fuel pressure

Question
I have a 2000 hyunda elantra it will start and go but once it warms up it won't start again for a while it dies where ever you are.what is it.

Answer
I'd primarily suspect a fuel pump or crank sensor, but the possibilities are significantly large.  If your check engine lamp is coming on, it's a good idea to start with finding out what codes are stored.  The trouble codes may lead you directly to the item that's causing your problem.

If you have not trouble codes, you'll want to determine the nature of the problem when it occurs.  You'll want to know whether the check engine lamp illuminates for at least a few seconds when you turn the ignition key to the "on" position, whether you have fuel pressure, and whether you have spark at the spark plugs.
