Hyundai Repair: trouble code, customer snapshots, transmission control module

I had the code checked on my 2000 hyundai sonata that's been shifting hard and check engine light pops on...the code p1529 states; "customer snapshots" "snapshot via con".  I don't understand what that means...can you help.

The description you have as to the meaning of this code is incorrect.  P1529 simply means that the TCM (transmission control module) has requested the ECM (engine control module) to turn on the check engine lamp.  To find out the nature of the problem, you'll need to read the codes in the TCM.
