Hyundai Repair: 1995 hyundai accent starter, hyundai accent, rear frame

My mom has a 1995 hyundai accent and the starter went out on it. I have replaced starters before and it is usually fairly easy. Well I cannot figure out how to get to the starter to get it out. If you could help me out with this i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Either the top or bottom is a pretty good squeeze.  I believe it's easiest to remove the air box and squeeze the starter between the transmission and master cylinder.

But you can also remove the intake manifold support braces and try to squeeze it between the axle and rear frame.  This may require taking the axle loose to get enough room.
