WHEN I TAKE OFF THE CAR SURGES TILL IT GETS INTO A HIGHER GEAR. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAL WHAT IS CAUSING THIS?

Ok if I am reading this right, when you take off an once you reach speed an maintain that your car runs ok,,,an if this is what's going on. There are a few things that come to mind,One check the fuel pressure an make sure you're not dropping off under acceleration.The fuel pump can not be putting out enough pressure. an the other thing is the transmission can cause it to do this also so I would have the fuel pressure checked an make sure the fuel filter & the fuel pump are ok , hope this is help for you if you have anything else feel free to ask,An like I said fuel pressure is more or less the problem the pump or the filter,have a great day
