Jaguar Repair: fuel pumps on 1976 xj12l, fuel pump relay, radiator support

Haven't run car in two + years and it isn't getting fuel to filter. Is there a fuse/relay for the fuel pump I can check before checking pump? Is there a pump for each tank?

Hi Pat,
The series II XJ-12 only has one fuel pump and the two relays controlling the fuel pump are located on the engine side of the radiator support. There are 5 relays. counting from the drivers side (left hand side) number 1 relay is the fuel system main relay. The fuel pump relay is number 4 relay. To work on the system you need a wiring diagram of the system. If you don't have one let me know and I will find one and put it up on my web site for you to copy.
