Jeep Repair: aftermarket radiator fan replacement, is it possible to remove fan clutch off of motor?, electric cooling fan, fan shroud

Question
I have a problem fitting the fan shroud with the electric cooling fan into the factory location.  A few year ago I rear ended someone and it moved the radiator and electric fan assembly back just enough so that it rubs on the engine driven fan/clutch assembly.  I am wondering if you may know of a lower profile electric fan assembly that wouldn't rub on the fan/clutch.  I would guess that the radiator has moved half an inch so it wouldn't take much of a difference in size to fit in.  If this is not a good idea to try to squeeze something in where it doesn't exactly fit I was wondering if leaving the fan shroud out and mounting an electric cooling fan to the mount holes of the radiator would do a sufficient job in cooling the radiator.  The shroud appears designed to make certain that the air going through the fan blades comes through the radiator and without the shroud I am not sure how effective an electric fan would be.  The final option that I am wondering about is, if it is an option, to remove the engine driven fan/clutch completely and use an aftermarket fan with more power with the shroud in place.  This would certainly fit in the space provided but I do not know if the operation of the electric is configured differently than the engine driven.  Any input would be greatly appreciated!  I am curious to see which of the three options seems to be the best under the circumstances.  Thanks in advance!

Answer
Instead of trying to decide which of the three options you presented would work best, which are in my opinion not all that viable. I'll offer a fourth that you may want to consider. Seeing that you've dealt with the damage for a few years and have apparently been driving the vehicle, leads me to think that it hasn't been too much of an issue. What I would suggest is that you remove as much of the front grill as possible to access the radiator supports then affix chains to it and a solid object like a tree and pull the radiator and supports back to where they should be.
