Question
I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is driving me insane , ok well heres the issue , the coolant fan does not come on and it over heats , i replaced the relay and the thermostat and the fuse , when i unplug the relay and jump it at the plug the fan comes on , please help

Answer
This may sound liek a dumb question that im going to ask you but here it goes, You have a fan that doesnt work, a relay that doesnt trip on and turn the fan on, so that is telling my that its not getting the signal to turn on, have you looked at all of the fuses? and I understand that you replaced the thermostat but did you replace the block heat sensor? The Fan doesnt know when to turn on because of the thermostat but a sensor that tells it that it is getting hot and its time to turn on... also check and make sure everything is working fine with your rad and the rest of the cooling system because your jeep should not have to rely on that fan to keep it from overheating, that is like its last resort. Hope this helps you.
