Jeep Repair: 1999 Jeep Wrangler Heater Relay, jeep wrangler, blower motor

Question
QUESTION: the blower motor for heater stopped working, all position.  I replaced the relay
and bingo... for about 45 min.  Any thoughts why the relay would keep going
bad?   Thanks

ANSWER: u mean the resistor?   possible blower motor is using to many amps and needs to be replaced.

QUESTION: Thanks for the reply.  No I don't think it's the resistor, I don't have any speeds.  After replacing the relay, I had all the speeds back.  I did pull the motor, however did not check to see how many amps it was pulling.  At one point I did replace the fan switch with a toggle (on/off), so I'm thinking I may have an issue with the wrong causing the problem.  thanks again for your help.

Answer
the relay in question just supplies power to the blower motor  the resistor and control switch give it different grounds  so see which part u are missing at the blower motor  power or ground.
The relay will turn on when u have the ign switch turned on  and ground when u turn the switch to provide the path through the resistors.
