Jeep Repair: Panel Removal, panel instrument, negative cable

Question
QUESTION: I own a 2004 Jeep Liberty. I Had after-market speakers installed. The stock tweeters were left in because the after-market speakers had tweeters enclosed in the center. The  stocker tweeters are now blown. I don't need to remove the stock ones all I want to do is cut the wire connected from the after-market stereo. How do I detach the dash panels to gain access to the speakers?
