Jeep Repair: Idol and Stalling, jgc, nothing shows

Question
My 97 JGC has currently start to experience two separate problems. When you are in gear and come to a stop removing your foot from gas to brake the idol drops and it stalls. It will restart again and continue on just stalling when you come to a stop. Then on the Saturday I went to go out tried to start it and got a click click and then an extremely low turn over. I held it for 3min and jeep started.  I could then turn off the Jeep and it would restart fine. I took and had the battery tested tested 12.7 I took it to garage and they put on an idol air controller. Now...it doesnt stall but when in park or gear with foot on brake  the rpm's go up to 2 down to .5 and so on without ever touching the gas.
Any suggestions or idea's I am tire of getting mickey moused around and no one knowing what the real problem is. It has been put on the computer twice and nothing shows up Can you help?
Thanks

Answer
Get a second opinion.  I would take your Jeep to another mechanic and a third if you have to.  It's impossible for me to diagnose a problem without having seen or heard what is actually happening.
One possibility is your fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter.  Try replacing the filter and if that does not work, consider having the fuel pump pressure tested and maybe replaced.
