Land Rover Repair: Disco 2 sunroof, electrical drawing, bcu

Neither sunroof open, I have looked at the electrical drawing and changed the ecu, when you operate the switch you can hear a relay clicking in the ecu but no action on either roof.
to prove the bcu is at fault could I just run a 12 v supply to the BCU input on the ecu.

If you hear a click it is more likely the motor is faulty or the roof mechanism is jammed.  Your next task should be to check power to the motor, and if it's present, remove the motor and see if it runs when hanging down.  If so, look into why the roof is jammed.   BCU is not a likely problem at all.
