First of all, let me thank you once again for running/powering this excellent site.  But, more importantly I finally took the time to read your blog.  It is wonderful.  You truly are a man to be admired.  Congrats on your success and dedication to your very important cause.

My inane, seemingly small question is this (and please forgive me for asking) I have been looking in various stores, AutoZone, Advanced Auto, Wal-Mart, etc., etc to simply purchase a set of wiper blades front and rear for my 2001 Discovery II.  I have been stoned at every turn.  I am wondering why the reference manuals in these stores list Land Rover Discovery I's, LR3, LR4 and Range Rovers but do not even list Discovery II's.  It is as if they have never been manufactured.  I have asked my Service rep at the LR dealer and he had no idea.  I previously purchased them online from Atlantic British.  Obviously there is no "urgency" to this question.  Whenever you get around to it is fine.  In the meantime, I'll enjoy the blog.  I have also shared your work with a work colleague of mine.  Her son is Autistic and she has done a phenomenal job raising him.  Thank you and best of luck.

Many high end vehicles use special wiper blades.  The Discovery II is one such truck.  I don't know of any alternative to the genuine Land Rover blade.   They are readily available at LR dealers and online.  The part number is dkc100960 for the front, and dkc100890 for the rear.
