hi my 53 plat range rover will not start and it come up hdc inactivecan you help thanks chris

the HDC inactive message does not provide any insight into why your truck does not start.

Does it crank over and fail to catch?  Or does it not crank over at all?

Your first step is to check the basics.  Is there fuel?  Is the battery good, and are the connections tight?  You should connect a scan tool and see what errors codes are stored.  

Do those thing and you will have some useful clues to solve the problem.
