Land Rover Repair: radio, faint sound, ebay

i turn my radio on i hear faint sound in the back, i tried to turn the volume up but it doesnt work. what seems to be the problem

If you have a Discovery or older Range Rover, and the radio comes on visibly (you can see the radio stations on the dial etc) then the trouble is probably in the radio itself.  It you have a 2003 or newer vehicle the system is a lot more complex and requires more testing.  If the radio is bad you may want to have a local car stereo guy fit something or else look on ebay as the genuine radios are quite costly through the dealer
