Land Rover Repair: Range Rover 3 series 2003, land rover dealer, land rover specialist

Question
The immobiliser will not release and all I can do is open the
drivers door with the key. Ignition will not turn etc. Car
used all the time so battery, keys etc fully charged. Can't
see how it could be towed or recovered if I can't sort this
out. Please help.

Answer
If it won't release you are going to have to use a T4 or Autologic system to figure out what's wrong and get it reset.  You need one of those Land Rover specialist test systems to make any progress from where you are now.  I guess you must bring the tester to the car, or the car to the tester, whatever that entails where you are.

There may be one other option in Spain . . . In the USA you would absolutely be locked out and have to tow it to a dealer, but in some other countries Land Rover configures vehicles for an emergency unlock code, where you turn the key in the lock a  certain number of times for your particular car.  Ask a Spanish Land Rover dealer if that's true where you like, and if so, ask them to look up the code for your truck.

Best wishes
