Land Rover Repair: air conditioner problem, refrigerant charge, blower motors

Question
QUESTION: my 2002 range rover w/120,000 miles is not keeping me cool. The fan blows hard and the air feels cool coming out, but does not cool us. i have the recirculation button on. the only thing that seems like it may be affecting the operation of a/c is the ext temp is off by at least 10 degrees. i thought the a/c is taking some info from the sensor that is controlling the ext degrees.

ANSWER: Your first step should be to check the refrigerant charge.  I'd guess it's empty

QUESTION: I have a 2007 LR. I used it the other day and realized that the air is blowing twice as hard from the vents than the RR. Could it be a blend motor problem?

Answer
2007 Range Rovers have considerably more airflow.  That said, you might check the cabin filters on the older Rover, and look in where the filters go while it's running to make sure both blower motors are running.  Maybe one has died and you didn't notice it.
