Land Rover Repair: 96 Disco Alarm System, immobilizer, car battery

Question
Disco alarm system is haywire.  Fob sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.  sometimes I can hear relays clicking, other times system arms and disarms like it should.  Three days ago I had to leave car in a parking garage cause immobilizer won't let me start car.  Battery now appears to be dead, and we can't get a flatbed tow truck in parking garage.  Dealer says I probably can't jump off battery, and not to have it towed by a wrecker.  Any suggestions?  (I had it in shop week before last to have problem fixed, but evidently they didn't get it fixed!)

Answer
I would install a fully charged battery, or charge the battery you have.  If the fob won't release the alarm so the truck can be started, you can at least then shift out of park and roll it out of the garage where you can load it onto a flatbed.

You will need a dealer or specialist with the proper equipment to talk to the alarm system.  There's no real user service for that.
