Land Rover Repair: Engine Swap for 98 range rover 4.0, vehcile, elese

Hello

Ive slipped a sleeve in my 1998 p38 4.0.  Terminal Failure.  Im looking to swap the engine and have been told I can look at 96-99 Disco I engines, and 95-98 p38 4.0's as well.  Can you let me know what is swapable into this vehcile?

You can install the engines you mention right out of the box.

You can also repair a dropped liner.  Read my article about that in the previous issue of the Rover News.

What you listed is pretty much it for a plug and play installation.  Any thing elese requires stripping down the motor and transferring and making up parts.
