Land Rover Repair: Shaking when breaking, steering damper, brake rotor

I have an 03 Discovery with dimpled and slotted rotors from EBC. These are my second set of rotors and pads since I purchased the Disco in 2002. I have notice some shaking when I break. I have had my tires rotated and balanced. I have also had my alinment checked and still feel a light shake. I am wondering what else it could be? (steering damper?)

I hear you about having new rotors, but rotor problems are almost always the cause of brake shudder.  In addition to warping you can get deposition of pad material on the rotor if the brakes are held on after a hard stop.
