Land Rover Repair: 96 LR Disc, vehicle speed sensor, sticky valves

My LR has just started doing this: while driving it will cut out or stutter like it's not getting gas but then it will correct itself. It does this about every time I drive it but I haven't noticed anything else. Any ideas?

You could have a number of problems, including:

1 - Bad spark plugs, wires, or coil packs
2 - A failing vehicle speed sensor on the transfer case
3 - Carbon fouling or sticky valves (see article on the robison service web site)
4 - A failing fuel pump
