my range rover suddenly didnt start and the alarm went off and the message 'engine disabled, press remote'. i tried the remote but nothing happened. how can i disable or reset the alarm so i can drive again?

Answer
Put the key in the driver door.  Turn to lock while pressing and holding the lock button.  Hold 5 seconds.

Turn to unlock and press and hold unlock.  Hold 5 seconds.

That process should re-synchronize your pushbutton.  You should them be able to press the button and unlock the car and clear the alarm.
