Land Rover Repair: repair problems with land rovers, westfield state college, mt holyoke college

Question
My daugther wants a land rover and I am inclined to by her one as she attentions college in the Northeast. I live in Florida and don't want her to have car problems. She like the height and security feeling. However, I have heard that the vehicles are often back in the shop for repair.

This I don't understand when the UN still uses them and I used one in the Sinai Desert in the 70's before the peace accordings.

Her next choice is an RX 330, Lexus which is a perfect safe and reliable vehicle. In fact it what she drives now. I am looking for safey, reliability first for my daughter and then resonable resale second.

Any advice you can provide is appreciated

Rob

Answer
Well, I am not sure exactly what you are asking here.  I'm a Land Rover enthusiast so of course that's what I would choose.  And they are safe and great in bad weather.  My company, www.robisonservice.com is probably the best known independent Land Rover specialist in the Northeast.  So if she's coming to school up here, we're around to take care of it.

I myself live in Amherst, Massachusetts in the Pioneer Valley, home to UMASS, Amherst College, Hampshire College, Smith College, Mt Holyoke College, Western New England College, Westfield State College and several smaller schools.  We service Land Rovers from all over the Northeast.

You might go to our company's web site and poke around there.  Look at the Robison On Rovers article reprints.  There are more here: http://www.roversnorth.com/LRinfomenu.html  and here:
