Land Rover Repair: Land Rover Discovery 1998 with ABS, land rover discovery, preassure

I live in Nigeria, my wife got a LR disco. The break fails from time to time(the pedal goes easily down,no break action, but a hissing sound). The master cylinder and the pads were changed, also the servo seems to be OK. When the engine is switched off and on, the preassure comes back after a few times pressing the pedal.
As there are no proper servicing facilities available, can you please tell me what to do.

The procedures to test brakes vary by country because the systems are different.  I'm in the USA and our procedures may not work for you.  Further, the procedure to test the USA spec ABS system requires the specialist Land Rover test system - there are no "home" tests.

I suggest you go to www.landrovertechinfo.com and see what's available for your truck, as they have the correct market specific repair data.

In the United States you'd pay $18 for a day's access.  I do not know the charges where you are.
