Hi, The rear door on my '98 discovery 300 is starting to drop, only by about 3-5mm, presumably from constant use with the weight of the spare wheel not helping much. Is there a simple way to adjust the door or hinges to correct the problem?

Hi Alan,

there is no simply way to adjust the rear door on the hinges.  Believe me, I've tried.  Best to have a second or even third person to help prop up the door while you loosen and retighten the hinge bolts.

Don't forget to check the rubber moulding around the rear opening...it shrinks with age.  I've lost 3 inches of moulding due to shrinkage on my '95 Disco.
