Lexus Repair: rear studs broke, wheel studs, rear hub

Question
how do you remove the rear rotor to gain access to the rear hub , to allow replacement of wheel studs, and does the hub need to be removed to repace studs

Answer
Well I odn't know what you're working on, but all disk brakes in general are the same.

Unbolt the caliper assembly and set it out of the way WITHOUT damaging, or stretching the brake line. Then the rotor pulls off. If it won't pull off, they have threaded holes that will accept bolts. Run bolts in them until they make contact with the hub. Then give them a 1/2 a turn each & it will shove the rotor off.
