Lexus Repair: 96 ES300 Wiper Motor Problem, link position, wiper arm

Question
I really need your help!  I just installed a rebuilt wiper motor. Now the wipers don't cover the windshield fully.  I did NOT pay attention to the wiper arm link position on the shaft when installing. Is there an install position for the link when replacing the wiper motor?  Also the parking of the blades does not seem correct.  They seem to 'kind of bottom' and then go back up about an inch.  I am aware of the two position parking switch.
Thanks for your time...Don

Answer
Hello Don, Well to be honest I have yet to replace one. Out here in sunny AZ we do not get a chance to use our wipers enough to burn a motor out. But in the past with other models I would let the motor park an then install the arm to the motor with the wipers set at the same spot it would normaly park at.
