Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 2000 navigator air ride, air suspension relay, air compressor

Question
I have a 2000 navigator. The air pump does not come on. I have checked the fuse's and there is no power to the pump. There doesn't seem to be any power at the leveler in the back either. The front seems to be sitting high enough but the rear of the truck is extremely low. Can you help?
Thanks, Chet

Answer
Chet,
Most likely the problem is going to be the compressor relay. Keep in mind though, that the relay normally dies when the compressor goes bad, because it draws allot of amps. In other words, while replacing the relay may get you going again, if the compressor isn't also replaced, the replacement relay will die prematurely.

BTW, the relay is located in the RF fenderwell, pretty much under the compressor(but in the fenderwell). You can get those parts here:  http://www.americanairsuspension.com/cart/products.php?cat=2
