Lincoln/Mercury Repair: trani lines, mercury sable, tranny

Question
how do I replace the trani line ends there striped and leak and I have the new ones but am unsure if I need a special tool to do it.Its a 1996 mercury sable

hello jennifer
all you need is a open end wrench is  it going in the tranny or raditior . when you start the new line turn it with your fingers and till u know it is started. This way you wont strip the new line . good luck to u and if you need more help let me know hun and you have a pretty name pete
