Mazda Repair: mazda B3000 manual 3.0 1996 start, crank sensor, mazda b3000

Question
Truck will start as long as engine is hot. Sometimes it will start cold, but often have to roll and bump clutch, then starts. Would bad fuel relay cause this? Truck has DIS(no distributor) with cam sensor and crank sensor. Can you eliminate what it isn't by the symptoms? Thanks, Mary

Answer
i'd first start with your battery most hard starts can be caused by a weak battery. if your battery is ok a faulty fuel system could also be the cause of a hard cold start.

as tempertures lower metal contracts and as it gets hoter it expands so check the basics loose or corroided connections.

if you need further help please try and give as much info as possible as to what it's doing or not doing.

but as i said load test the battery and do a starter motor draw test to rule out those basic problems
