Could you please tell me how much it will cost to replace the cv joints in my 1997 mazda 626 LX. I will take it to a certified mechanic to have the work done. Thanks.

all shops charge different rates and use different part sources you can request that the shop shows you the hour guild line for repairs. most repairs are charged by these guild lines.  

the guild lines shows the shop how many hours it takes to repair something.  

example if it shows that the repair takes 1.5hours and the shops does it in 1 your dilled for 1.5hours it also works the other way if it says 1.5 hrs and it takes them 2hrs your charged 1.5hrs
