my headlights would not come on  i thought replacing the bulbs would solve the problem the only thing that comes on is the parking lights and if you pull back on the switch the hi beams come on i also here a clicking noise coming from under the hood when i try to turn on the lights

the clicking noise is the relay working.. you need to replace the left side lever that controls the headlight funtion.  it's not a very easy part to change, there's little springs and ball and removing a couple wires from the harness,  i've done many and still dont like doing them
