Lincoln/Mercury Repair: Left front wheel draginh on right turn, lincoln navigator, tire noise

Hi there, I have a 1997 Lincoln Navigator. Just recently the left front wheel started dragging and making a tire noise on right turn only. The suspension, alignment and everything was checked and all was fine. Any suggestions? Someone told me it could be the front differential?

Enrich, Sorry but this is a "hands-on" problem and I can't help much without the vehicle here for me to test drive and inspect myself. Yes, the differential a possibility I guess, but has anything been done to the vehicle lately?....new tires?.....tires balanced?....brake work?....accident?
