Mazda Repair: Engine Problem, coolant leak, head gasket

Question
I have a Mazda 929. The cooling fluid is leaking from the back of the engine above the transmission. Is there some kind of water hose behind the engine? Please help.

Answer
Hi David
thanks for asking. The answer is yes, there are usually a couple of cooling hoses that run behind the engine to go inside the car to the heater core to provide heat inside the vehicle, Most of the time they are rubber. I would have a closer look though. Cause the heater core itself could be leaking or possible from any other place. LIke a head gasket or a coolant leak from the rad can make it look like a leak at the back after driving the vehicle.
Good luck.
