Mercedes Benz repair: NO fuel, amp fuse, fuel pump relay

Question
1985 380SE 330kms, New Zealand.
Has been sitting for a while and went to start it but would not fire. Tipped some fuel down it and it fired. I have not yet figured out weather it is the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay. I suspect it is the relay but no sure witch one it is. Can anyone help me or suggest anything else to check? Any help would be great! Thanks

You will need further support.

When a 380SE is not properly stored:
#1. Drain all liquid from the fuel tank/system, refill with at least one fourth tank of new/fresh fuel.
#2. The fuel pump can become gummed up, generally this requires replacement.
#3. The Ceramic Fuses corrode, and loose contact = replace them all with new.
#4. The Fuel Pump Relay may corrode, and fail to make contact.
#5. The Overload Relay may corrode and/or blow the fuse from overload, replace the fuse with a new ten AMP fuse.
