Mercedes Benz repair: Fuel Pump Relay, fuel pump relay, answer check

Question
1989 300E Series 217,000 miles just quit running while driving down the road.  I live about 70 miles from Charlotte NC.  I checked the fuel filters and fuel pump and fuses, everything seems to be fine.  I was going to check the fuel relay, I can't seem to find its location!

Answer
Answer:
Check the fuel pump, put your hand on it, have someone crank the engine, you should feel it running.
Check for fuel pressure.
If you have fuel pressure, the relay is not at fault.

At your indicated mileage, there are many possible issues.
Jumped timing is possible, however, there are many others, some cheap, and others thousands of dollars.
