Mercedes Benz repair: battery, accelerator pedal, gagets

Question
I recently asked how to junp the battery that is located in the trunk.  Your response was to look under the gas pedal.  I looked there and there are to small gagets directly under the pedal  There are also one big bolt just to the left of these bolds.  Which is the correct connection and will there be a positive and negative connection.

There should be a large "Positive, Hot = RED" 10 MM cable, coming from rear of car, going to the correct jump point under the accelerator pedal.
